History Book

This History Book of LaFayette Township, New Jersey is a recounting of the development of the area known as LaFayette since the first survey was made for West Jersey Proprietors in 1716.

This well-written 40+ page soft-cover book was written by local historian, Alex Everitt in 1976 for the our Bicentennial Celebration and contains a wealth of knowledge covering almost three centuries.

Cookbook

Our "Look Homeward, Lafayette" Cookbook is a nostalgic look at 150 years of Lafayette history through recipes, pictures and stories.

This soft-cover 232-page cookbook was published in 1995 for Lafayette's Sesquicentennial.

"The One-Room School"

"The One-Room School" is a 32-page soft-cover book that co-written by Catherine Guirreri and Connie McIntyre in 1996. The Lafayette Center Preservation Foundation republished it in 2001.

This charming little book is about Mrs. Guirreri's own experiences teaching in the one-room Statesville School in Lafayette from 1935-1939. The school was located on Beaver Run Road in Lafayette Township, New Jersey.
